VDO GAUGES

Hi,Does anybody know what diameter VDO gauges are and what diameter the oil pressure gauge union transmitter is, that fits into top of oil pump on a 350i.

Dial sizes are almost universally 52mm for the minor gauges and 80mm for speedo/tacho, although you can get jumbo 100mm and 125mm gauges too. Threads could be just about anything.

ISTR that mine was M10 * 1.0 which is classed as Metric Fine. I used a VDO pressure sender for a fuel pressure gauge on the 390.

Remember to clean everything up really well after tapping because you don't want that swarf in the bearings - do you?
