Temperamental Clock .......
Discussion
Morning all and Happy Christmas !
Since getting the TVR the clock has been doing strange things. It doesn't appear to work when the engine is running or when you look at it .....
However, every time I get in the car it has moved on a bit, normally 10 - 20 seconds. I've checked the fuse which is ok and the interior lights work fine ( which I understand are on the same circuit ).
I presume it's just a dodgy earth on the clock itself as all the other dials / dash lights work ok, unless the clock is just knackered .......
Is it a dash out job to get to ( and will therefore be left alone ! ) or can I get to it through one of the air vent holes ......... ?
Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance
Al

Can't say what the problem is but you can pull out the airvents in the central dash and push the air supply tubes out the way - that should give enough access to the wires & clock.
I would just check for a voltage.
I will guess at wires : Earth, live (only with lights on) and another permanent live to power the clock.
