The door mirrors on my 1984 350 are quite loose on the ball joints. Consequently the air flow tends to move them inwards when getting up to some decent speeds.

I couldn't see any obvious adjustment to tighten up the fitting....can anyone help please on how to do this?

Thanks in advance

well not sure old chap.... wedges were fitted with many many mirrors, depends on what ones they were.. Some you can do from outside some from removing door cards and some may need motivation. if you can post a pic or describe in more detail i may be able to help

My Wedge is a similar year and has the same problem. Difficulty is that the joint that is weak and causes the mirrors to swivel inwards when driving is a crimp style. Not much i can do but either replace the mirrors, or "glue" them in the right position. I have finally decided to update mine to the later pods, but if anyone can give any info on fixing my problems i may reprieve them.
