The previous ownwer didnt know what it was and its not obvious to me. Anybody know what the green up /down toggle switch on centre control panel, on the nearside, next to the window switch is supposed to do apart from make clicky buzzy noises in the passenger footwell region?

That's the rear window demister on mine but it's a fixed head

Foglight maybe ( which is next to it the demister on mine ) ?

Is is the same type of switch as the others in the centre console ?

Cheers

Al

( I'm just filling in the gap until the experts reply )

On mine it adjusts the mirrors - maybe I've just got a posh version though

keep guessing guys. mine is a rag top. mirror control is a toggle and a joy stick. windows are else where on the panel. no I don't have a manual. switch is like the window switches but green and not labled as anything. i could trace the wires from the buzzy clicky thing but am busy doing the suspension at the moment and my curiosity has got the better of me re the switch. please one of you must know!!!

Hazard warning switch? And the relay is buzzing?

Or it could be one of them "thisil get them thinking, it doesn't do anything" TVR special?

Could be the aerial switch. Mine had one but seems a little redundant these days with automatic aerials. The plans are to fill the gap with the new mirror controls.

Yup, almost certainly electric aerial.
