hi peeps i was wondering how young you can be to be a wedge owner in terms of insurance etc?

really am tempted to save up for a 350 but i'd like to know of other people in low 20's who have been able to get themselves a tiv

if i dont get a wedge i'm probably going to get a 3000m or similar

Why not give classicline a call : 01455 639000

or try online quotes from people like TESCO's..

I think Dave (york33) is a spring chicken... you may have to run it as a 'second car' to keep the premiums down...

I was 22 when I first got mine. Only car, unlimited mileage with Tesco. Was around £1400 TPFT. That's for a 280.

Awww, thanks Ian, you're too kind

I'm 26 now, was 24 when I got her. £350 give or take a hundred, I can't remember. Cheaper than my previous Astra GTE, but more expensive than a CBR600.....I'm with Directline, but will prob move to a classic specialist next renewal as I wish to expand my car collection, ahem Jag, ahem

When I brought my series 1 280i two years ago, I was the ripe old age of 25....I think that I paid about 250 fully comprehensive with Heritage Insurance, limited to 3000 miles a year and used as a second car.

Met a nice "Young Man"(said in old granny voice) in le-mans 2003 with a bright orange FHC 280i (the one i tried to get my wife to buy!!;-).
Im sure he was only 21 ,so i'm sure if you shop around you'll be able to negotiate a reasonable deal
Good luck
