outrigger 1 is fine!
Discussion
Just took one sill off. No bolts just rivets. And very happy to see that this side the outrigger is ok (1987 wedge). Just needs the plate at the back to be replaced, which I can do myself. Next week sill number2 is planned, hopefully it is in the same state.
Questions:
What would the preferred thinkness of a new plate be? Currently thinking of 5mm.
And any other good tips for stuff that can be done, or to pay attention to while doing this?
Thanks,
Rob

Outrigger 2 is fine as well, but needs the back plate to be replaced as well (I have to now as I grinded it of....). On the second side only one bolt is holding the body to the chassis. Looks like the lower hole is too low to be able to put a bolt inside.
Think that I will go for 3 mm plates.
Thanks for the replies.

Work done, finally.
Both plates at the back in the end are specials, as anything except the outside dimensions is different. At least it stays in-line with the TVR feature of every car (and even each side) being unique.
Went for a spin, and it feels good by knowing that the seatbelts are now attached to something else then just glassfibre. Looking forward to the MOT now, just have to do the front wheel balljoints and some minor stuff (I hope).
