I had a very busy weekend, decided it was finally time to pull the engine and gearbox out to get the box overhauled.
Everything went swimmingly until I laid underneath to remove the exhaust and discovered two fairly large cracks in the chassis
Having repaired the chassis in a couple of places already, and the previous owner having had two sections at the front repaired I feel that it may be time to invest in a new one!
No rush to get it done, just Le Mans and the BBWF etc!!!!
Other drama's included the jib of the engine crane not being long enough, so I had to resort to the old fashioned block and tackle, which resulted in a cracked spoiler when the trolley jack went down too fast, whilst hunting for the last two inches of clearance at the front end. DOH.

I will update the site as I continue with the work.

Hi Mick, sorry to hear of your woes.. I believe there is still one for sale on Autotrader - guy says it's off a Tuscan but I seem to recall he had it under a wedge body on a photo seen some time ago... maybe worth a call - otherwise have a word with Tasmania.. he may be able to help?.
