Minor problem compared with others on here but mine has gone all floppy and wont stay up I've tried hook and eye and viagra but on inspection the internals are split.

Anyone know what these come off??

Steve - I hate to say this but it sounds like plastic surgery might be the only option and not using it for a very long time.

Failing that - I'm sure they have "FOMOCO" stamped on them somewhere (ford parts)... capri/cortina/granada/fiesta from vintage around '89.

Have you tried wrapping some tape around the arm?

I tried that but found using the keyboard too difficult

I have this problem. the plastic tubes that act as a hinge in the visor had split, and the visor would not stay up. I just removed the visor. I have been meaning to replace them, but cannot be bothered.

Exactly the problem I have Jason, I've had it off for a number of months now meaning to fix and thought the hook and eye tape would do it but it's not man enough.

I will track down a replacement pair at the breakers.

Alan, if you can't use the keyboard, use ya dicktaphone

I've got a spare set - the ones from the 520 as the roll cage gets in the way. Your email address is not working.
