Nice pic fella.

Would like to have my car back together again so I can get around and take some nice pics myself.

At the moment:

The entire dash wiring system is in bits on the floor. I have pulled out about 10 feet of wire that wasn't doing anything and two alarm / immobiliser looms that were just cut hanging in space.

I have just fitted a fan over ride swith and associated LEDs and am taping up the looms to tidy up the wiring a little.

I have the calipers still away being re-furbished - apparently they are away for zinc plating today and should be finished and totally re-built with S/S pistons on Friday. Cannot wait to see them, the guy reckons that the only thing being returned that is original is the castings everything else gets changed.

My new Mintex 1144 pads (front & backs) have turned up just waiting for the calipers back to get them fitted - also trying to locate suitable S/S pad pins.

A new pressure sender should be with me tommorow - will fit this and test as soon as it arrives.

'Oh and my front & back TVR badges are still with Leven being re-plated.

Should be together again in some shape ready for chicken run 2 - So get your cameras charged.

Thanks Mike,

Glad to hear that everything is going
"The TVR Smooth & Simple Way"
ie.
start a simple 5 min job end up writing your own Haynes Manual!

Seriously I hope your bits all get back soon and when re-built its all better than new.

Well, I always think that it is a positive attribute to have brakes that work!.

Snow's getting thicker around here. Must be almost a millimetre by now ! I've got a 100 mile trip to Milton Keynes tomorrow so will take the camera for a few piccies on route. Not sure I fancy washing and polishing it today, to show it at its best, though.

Nice piccy of Shadowfax !!

I must admit the cold weather is great when the roads are dry in winter. I took the 450 for a blast at the weekend after fitting my new speedo cable. Full throttle, loads of ummph and no pinking even on std unleaded !! Car runs really sweet in these conditions, shame its snowing now !!!

Ha ahh well spotted,

but what you did`nt realise is that the car was parked up at 7:00am we (the dog and I) had just returned from our 2 mile morning walk!

The hood was down shortly after the pics and stayed down all day until about 4:40pm when I got back from The Bull at Meriden last Sunday!

4 Wedges but ONLY ONE WHITE ONE - hows that front suspension coming?

Ahhh thought there would be a good reason!

Suspension still suspended due to bad weather and a freezing garage, hopefully I will make a start Bank holiday now.

Great Pic Steve..! Your car is looking good..!

As a fellow white wedge owner, do you have problems with discolourization(sp?) around the rear spoiler/bumper from the tail pipe? Mine goes slightly yellow/brown, and i have to polish like crazy to remove it.

I have a white 390 (pic in profile - taken at sunset), and have the yellow/brown problems on the back as well. Quick polish usually sorts it without too much problem.

Cheers Wayne,
The car always photographs well (in the right light)at a distance, but its far from perfect!
The discolouration is always a problem - after covering a couple of hundred miles in a day it even reaches the boot spoiler!
Elbow grease is the only solution and good quality wax seems to help but not found anything yet to prevent it - except not driving it!

Hope to meet up at BBWF if your coming.
