Leaving wedges at the airport
Discussion
I'm not sure what to do - so thought I'd ask around...
Off for a few days break next week, I have a flight that leaves at the crack of dawn, so cannot get a train in time -- I could get a taxi but that'll cost a bit - I'm just not sure how safe the car parks are at the airports. Would a wedge be safe parked out in the open (I have left my car outside my house for weeks on end with no probs) there is an alarm / immobiliser - and it'll have a crook-lok thingy on it... I know I'm being paranoid - but has anyone else left their pride n joy ??

Must admit as much as I love my Wedges, if it came to it, I would leave it - life is for living
Agreed - a taxi it is - despite the generous offers - it'll be much simpler in the long run (and on my neighbours as I've gotta get up at 04:45!) to be chauffered there n back...
This may or may not be relevant but last time I flew of of Gatwick I left the Eurobox at the main dealer in the area for a service, they took me to the airport and gave me I got a lift back! The real benefit was secure, free parking and I didn't miss the car! £50 quid saved in parking.
There is a certain independent TVR dealer near to the airport who may be worth asking if they can help if your flying out of Gatwick.
