and there was I browsing when I see Duncan has his lovely 500SE for sale in classifieds
I was hoping to keep the 660 and 500 in the region

Im tempted but not without the brass for it to be a third car!

I thought that there were more than two but no matter, if you want one any 400SE can be converted, as the ad says its not ex-works so there's hope for you yet maybe.

I was wondering that as well. In my opinion, there are few aftermarket wheels that look good on a wedge, but I really like those. Still, as I'm readvertising mine soon (at a bargain price!), I don't need new wheels!

Had a 350, prefer the body of a SEAC, then if not a SEAC a 450/400 SE.

I've done a lot of work on that car for Duncan over the past 5 years or so. it's a lovely car, sounds glorious, goes well, recent cam n rolling road tune (almost 300bhp)

it's a nice honest car

I guess, when it's home brew car and not a factory sanctioned conversion byt TVR Power within the first 6 months of the car's life like this one ..

afaik there were 2 factory cars, and this one converted shortly after birth.

There may be 150 400SEs out there so I suppose that there are potentially 150. They are aftermarket conversions so no-one really knows but as with the SXs they seem to be desireable cars.
