Help !

Does anybody know the correct size drive belt for the power steering on a wedge? Have been running an 875c but not been able to get the tension very good. Wondering if this is actually too large. Currently driving the SEAC without power steering - rather heavy! Mrs H developing muscles but doesn't want to end up like Arnie!

My old belt was a QH-QBB 850 now replaced with a Unipart GFB20 864 (from Rimmers) both seem to tension OK.
875 may be a bit long

Thanks for the comment, cant get an 850 over the pulley - may possibly do it if I take the pulley off the pump but that seems a little extreme.

Anybody else got any suggestions ?

I've seen a couple of different PAS setups on wedges, I bet there are different belts. Can't you take the old one into a motor factors to match up, or maybe the old trick with a piece of string?

Just a point I remember - there are about 4 nuts to undo which allows lots of adjustment. Its not a simple pivot like the altenator. However as previous reply there are at least 2 bracket / pump styles probably more.

Ended up using an 850B , which has done the job . Thanks fo all the tips.
