MikeB comes to Usk

I also reckon that we should figure out some way of adding your rockets to the SEAC in a James Bond 'big red fire button in the dashboard' type of way!
By coincidence the James Bond film was on the other night where he had that awful beemer with rockets that shoot out of the side panels......look much better on a SEAC, sort of go with the styling.

Great afternoon spent with Mikeb, shame the outlaws had to leave ten minutes after I got back
What is it that makes these Wedges so much fun even though they are so different? A couple of days ago i took the 350 out and was amazed at the difference between it and the SEAC. But in a strange way I enjoyed it even more than its big Brother. They are Soooo different - driving position, handling, steering, power. The only common factor was the grin on my face. Yet for all these differences you just know that your in a Wedge when the whole street hears you comeing before you've even turned the corner.
Mikes 450SE is no exception - Loud, no VERY loud! fast, no Very fast
I found myself driving this one harder than I drive my SEAC! maybe the suspension is set up better on the 450 or maybe because the SEAC is lighter(even without PAS the steering is more "twitchy" on mine). For whatever reason I felt more in control of the 450 and really enjoyed the empty lanes of sunny old U S of K
Usk is a beautiful old village, with a gossip machine bigger than Holywood! By the time i got to my local the talk was "did you see Dicky in his new TVR" "Dickys got three now" "Dickys got a louder exhaust pipe fitted" one mate even heard that i had bought a brand new Tuscan !!!!
Any way, enough of my ramblings. Had a great day Mike, bet your so glad you didn't buy that Chimp
PS. the rocket will be mounted horizontally on the SEAC guarding the Wedge section of the car park at BBWF
