Streaky's Fast Lane Car
Discussion

Bought 4 Fast Lane mags with your car in it. Very interesting History Streaky any interest shown in the sale of the old Lady?
Some interest, but mostly idiots who just think they can have a blast around in the car ... they're wrong! One serious prospect pulled out when he learned what the insurance would be (under 30 with 9 points on licence) ... actually, I think he was wise, the licence would have gone very quickly! One prospect in Canada found he couldn't import the car (I'm still not sure that it wasn't a scam!). And one prospect who left the message I referred to.
That's life

Basically after 3 driveline failures, Tim Holmes and Peter Dron along with Peter Wheeler take your car and one of the two factory 390 racers (Rod Gretton's - Kevlar and quoted to be 350 pounds lighter)to Bruntingthorpe. They manage to break a couple of UJ's.
Tells of loads of mods to your car to sort out the suspension which then become standard. The steering column was also changed to the SD1 type. Even the stereo was upgraded! 6 pages of it. Also yours was raced at Donnington Park in a relay with the 2 works 390 racers
If you don't have this copy I'll scan it tomorrrow in work.
