Just noticed on the PistonHeads main page that www.tvrparts.com have purchased the Wedge and S series parts. anyone dealt with them or even heard of them before?

I see their phone code is Tiverton - any connection to another TVR outfit in that part of the world?

I used TVRCARPARTS.COM recently to get a speedo cable for my 450se. They did not have the one I needed in stock so they had some made in less than a week. Very friendly, and they rang me regularly to let me know what was happening with the cables. They even posted the cable to me before I paid for it as their credit card machine had not been set up !! These are the guys who have bought the WEDGE and S parts.

We don't know who is behind tvrparts.com, it appears to be an Ebay auction site and DOES NOT have the Wedge and S parts from the factory.


There is a lot of confusion with tvrcarparts.com which has a Tiverton phone number and DO have the Wedge and S parts from the factory

OK - I've found out what's going on.
There is NO CONNECTION between tvrparts.com and tvrcarparts.com.

tvrcarparts.com have the wedge and S parts from the factory and have a Tiverton phone number.
tvrparts.com appear to be simply an Ebay auction site.

As for the secrecy, Neil says he doesn't mind making his name public. Neil used to be the parts manager at Penninsula and we had been wondering where he had dissapeared to. He's been cataloguing the contents of those containers. I can vouch that he really knows his TVRs. There is no connection between Penninsula and tvrcarparts.com but the word is that they expect to have a good working relationship.

Broadside - Neil says you bought the speedo cable from him at tvrcarparts.com and not tvrparts.com !

Good Lord! I haven't heard of Tiverton, Cheshire for many a year. South of Tarporly and just up the A49 from Beeston Hall. One phone box and a dog as I recall .

Yep it was TVRCARPARTS.COM and not the other one. I have amended my original mail as I want to credit Neil for his service. Thats the problem with having similar names and a poor memory !! However, if I get stuck for bits again I will definately give Neil a call.

Hope this sets things straight for now.
