Tank fuel hoses
Discussion
just replaced the swirl pot on mine with the hoses, mine is piped up in the following way;
pipes (5/8ths) from bottom of n/side and o/side tanks going to top of swirl pot,
1/4 bore pipe from top of swirl pot goes back of to top of n/s fuel tank, bottom of swirl pot is feed to fuel pump. top of n/s fuel tank(wheel arch area) is the return from injector rail. hope this helps.regards dave s

Hi,
I'm currently changing the swirl pot to pump hose on my 350i (the original one wasn't leaking but was very cracked). The pipe has internal steel braiding I guess to resist pressure both ways making it very robust. Much stronger to compressing than any of the textile reinforced modern fuel injection type hose I've found. (stop it sucking closed?). It's about 12mm internal diameter. I've been struggling to find something similar. All my local factors don't stock fuel hose as big diameter. The "bible" suggests fuel resistant hydraulic hose so i'm off to my local hydraulics place....
