I saw Sprint was doing a large piece on the wedges and decided to phone Derek Smith to see if he was interested in seeing the last SE ever made, the 430. I agreed to meet him in Fernhurst, Surrey, where he proceeded to take about 50 pics of the car. I have been holding my breath since then hoping the car would be in the next issue.
As Derek hadn't driven one before, as he hasn't been Editor that long, I agreed to let him have a go and as you can read he thoroughly enjoyed it. Perhaps it may have changed his mind from getting a Chim.
With 2 months coverage in Sprint of the Wedges I think we have done well.
See you all at BBWF

It was a nice surprise to see your wedge in Sprint Bob. Having seen it in the flesh myself, I can vouch that it is a beautiful and well maintained car. Well done mate.

Well done Bob - nice article and a lovely car

Can't see why he had such a problem about the glove box hinges. I can't see mine when the glove box is closed.
