The owner appears to be a Geoff Entwistle according to the restoration photos on Photobox.

Saw that myself, he should watch that old Clarkson video where he rates the Skyline, its traction via the computer technology and goes onto say it is like all the fun has been taken out

Meanwhile TVR puts it back

10K for a 390se is a bit steep for a starting price.. but I guess he does want to swap.

WHAT IS A SKYLINE !
There aren't many cars in the States that I would swap that 390 for.......second thought, they misplaced the driver's seat on this car.

I notice that site lists Shelby's and Skoda's but no TVR's

Yes, I noticed that too.

Clearly they don't regard TVRs as Sportscars.

Sad people.

a Skyline is a cheap version of a Silver Cross very popular in the 60s and early 70s with the under 3s

The closed down SIlver Cross factory is just a mile from where I live, so sad all those coachbuilding skills were dissipated. Spoked wheels, chrome trims, hood mechanisms and leaf springs :sigh:

They could have gone over to making 2CVs or Smart Cars.
