XJS I.R.S. to 350i

Has anyone ever fitted a Jag XJS i.r.s. to the rear of a 350i series one?

I'd have thought it was a fair bit wider.
IIRC the Jag used a pressed-steel 'beam' into which all the loads were fed. It also had twin shocks each side?
Have you got no back axle in your car at all?

Looked at it but it is incredibly heavy in comparison and doesn't give that much improvement. The A frame is pretty good providing it is looked after.
