450 water pump renewal

HI everyone.
I just noticed my water pump is noisy its the bearings.
Is it cheaper to repair theunit or service exchange.
anybody been down this road.

There is a new V8 front cover and water pump on ebay - probably the same type

New one is usually the best bet but make sure you get the same one - there is a lot of variation especially with the length of the output shaft.

RPI will sell you a new one for about £100, no idea about recon prices. My V8S uses an SD1/injection pump (this is the longer nose variant of the SD1 pump), I haven't seen any other type of water pump used on pre-serpentine RV8 TVRs but I'd advise you to compare yours carefully just to be on the safe side, after all it IS a TVR.

I have looked on ebay but they dont look identical.
Where can i buy a new/recon one from.Im hoping to get it fitted by the weekend.
