OK, touching wood heavily, here.

I've just got back from a trip to Lands End from Manchester in the 350. That's brought my total mileage in just over 8 months up to 13k.

(Here we go, fingers crossed and touching wood...) And in all that time, the car has never actually let me down!

Nice.

Same here in the 350 for 9 years. Never missed a beat. Relatives in Cornwal so a regular holiday destination. Loved every trip. I kept an eye on things and nipped any probs in the bud. The Festa has let us down more.

Now in the 400 18k on the new motor and never missed a beat. 150+ miles today and loved every second. Cornwal next year for certain.

Keep up the motoring.

This just proves the point that any car is more reliable when used every day!

I used wedges inc 2 SEACs as daily transport for nearly 10 years probably over 50,000 miles, inc probably 20 trips to Devon, i had only 4 breakdowns in that time.

I did 20k+ miles in one year in my wedge. Never broke down once.

Fancy a swap - to be fair to my 400, (ignoring initial chassis problems ) 3 years ownership only 10K miles in that time and the only 2 problems: starter motor and oil pump.. not bad really.. (am I living in denial?)
