OK yoose guys ..... hands up!

Where's all the information on where meetings and gatherings are held - I can't find it. Now I'm not totally daft (but some might say so 'cos I DID buy the Barons yellow 420 SEAC[?]), and rocket science is basically quite simple - but I can't find wherever it is the meetings/gatherings are posted!

If they're just posted on here from time to time an idea of the location might just be handy - a map reference is not necessarily required!

Ho hum.........

Right, thanks. I didn't realise that it was a gassing station forum.

So is the Manchester Airport Tunnel Blast 9yeah - good fun!) the only meet advertised on the events and meetings page?

Or do I need a brain scan?

Go to the Gassing station front page. Instead of clicking on Wedges go up 19 lines or so. I know how you feel but it's obvious when you find it. Glad you're enjoying you 350/420/yellow peril Wedge.

Firefox,

Did you know that there was the Mid Essex meet happening this Sunday? We normally meet up at the Forresters Golf House thingy for around 12-12:30. There is always a huge turn out of people and I really recommend it. Theres also a small convoy leaving from Toys r Us carpark at Copdock in Ipswich at 11:45am if you are from the area. If not, let me know and I will send you some directions.

Dan.

OK - so where's the Forresters Golf Club?

I'm not too sure I can make Sunday, but feel I should make an effort. Copdock is not far away from me at Clacton - will you be driving in convoy down the A12?
Rocketship will probably want to go.

Well - the events/meetings page on the gassing section seems all a bit messy to me.

Why not open out own thread for Wedge meetings on here?

Yes - I think I'll do that. I hope you don't think I'm being presumptuous being as I'm a newbie here.

The Forester Golf and Tennis Club is located in a town called Great Totham on Beckingham Road, not many miles off of the A12. Theres a map/directions on the Mid Essex web site at www.midessextvr.co.uk/meeting.htm

A small convoy will be leaving Toys r Us at Copdock at around 12ish and we always travel down the A12 and turn off just before Witham I believe. There will be a green and silver 350i, a Silver Tuscan and a red Cerbera in tomorrows convoy, possible a few more.

The meet is really good and always attracts so many people. Most people have a meal and then liase afterwards with fellow members.

Thanks Digga -

I'll try and make the effort to come along - can't guarantee it , but keep a look out for the Big Banana / Yellow Peril or whatever you might like to call it! I might just enjoy the drive through the lanes to Great Totham.

Hmmm... rocket science - pump large quantities of liquid Hydrogen and Oxygen into a chamber with one end open .. ignite and ... thrust loads of it.

Just like hitting the loud pedal in my SEAC...

Yes reverend -

....and at the meet today I had pointed out to me a Cerbera with nitrous injection!

Is anyone ever satisfied?

I must admit I'm thinking of something faster!
