just started hameriting my chassie back done ok, take off front wheel and have a look at side of the engine and find a core plug leaking s##t another job to add to the list. has any body done these?, i can see it but whether i can get it out with the manifold on is another matter.hope someone can help

Thats what you get for starting an easy job i started on my chassis last year cost me a small fortune with them other jobs which occurred, never done a core plug you may have to take manifold off only guessing at mo more work for you,but iam sure someone on here must have done one .Good luck .

Better to find the problem when you can manage it and not have the core plug blow out at speed in the o/s lane of a crowded motorway (if you get my drift ) - Streaky

Had a core plug go on a mini. Bought a new one and was told to tap convex part with a ball pain of a hammer. Several plugs after I got it right. Dunno if its the same with these or I was doing the right thing?
