Don't you just love taking time out to play.. Looking forward to getting the 400 back and doing much the same, have a few weeks off now although should be decorating - can see that put on the back burner if the weather improves..

Had a good time, it was earlier this week. For years I have had work in the area and travelled many a road built for hooning in a white van. The last few days we only hit on a few of them. Plenty left to try. Also some very good digs, although the Bull at Beaumaris doesn't have much in the way of off road parking for a large group otherwise it would be superb for an overnight.

I feel another one comming on this year

On the subject of next year, isn't the club doing a 25 year aniversary for the Wedge?

Good place for scran if you are in the area. Tyn Y Groes just south of Conwy. Large car park and food to die for. Well not die for but you get the picture.

Also Conwy is a walled town. Sounds great when you are lost in it

I can recomend a few places to stay.
Seiont Manor, near Llanberis
Trearddur Bay, on Anglesey near Holyhead.
Tyn Y groes (ate there but not stayed) but looks excellent.
Bulls head at Beaumaris, though no real parking.

Stayed at at good few in mid Wales as well.

Superb. Missed the feeding by a tad but counted 10+ in the air last year. Saw a good few on our way back the other day.

Jeff, thanks. Just been back in the memory bank. At Bodnant last weekend and Gigrin last year twice. Will be back very soon.

Thank God for birds, flora and people with imagination, constancy and commitment

"A BBW weekend in Wales"? Advertising this will bring all the scamera vans in N and S Wales down upon (y)our heads! Shades of the WRC two years ago (see threads on SP&L).
