Low miles 350i to be auctioned
Discussion
Just a "heads-up" for fellow PHers and more particularly Wedge devotees.
Ordinarily I would not normally make such an announcement but this wedge is I believe quite unique and it would be good to see it remain within the PH fold.
We took in PX a 1987(D) 350i that has covered just 29k miles from new with a truly comprehensive history file, all MoTs and with a fully documented modded engine, reputedly generating 260bhp.
It is not of an age that we would sell on and hence put our name to it, so it is to be auctioned at Barons Auctions on Tuesday 20th April at Sandown Park.
You will not find it advertised on PHs hallowed pages.
Some sketchy detail and photo may be found here :

If there are any seriously interested parties I would be happy to provide further details.
NB: I suspect I shall be at the Hants TVRCC meet this Thursday with the beast - should anyone desire a sneak preview.

- assume it also has the exhaust coming out 1 foot in from the offside rather than straight out behind the rear wheel (much nicer IMHO)..?
....its also a very rude straight through stainless system
that was fitted when it had the 260bhp lightened, balanced and blue printed engine mods carried out, along with fully aeroquipped hoses, oil cooler and rev limiter installed.tvrgaas said:

Sounded great when you left, we heard it from inside the pub - what was that??!!!
A combination of the 270bhp blueprinted engine and straight through exhaust
really do make it one of the best sounding TVRs I've ever driven! If I didn't have other current financial commitments David, ....I'd be buying it myself!

- certainly seems a beaut.. Given the slatted bonnet - assume it also has the exhaust coming out 1 foot in from the offside rather than straight out behind the rear wheel (much nicer IMHO)..?
