Any one know where best place to get new ones,or at worse refurbish old ones, as i think this is my steering problem now
Vehicle is a 89 350, and very jolty to drive at the mo !

Try Richard at RT Racing - when my '85 350i needed refurbing he was about a quarter the price of anyone else, although he took a few days to turn it around

Got my column to steering shaft uj new from David Geralds. Around the £50 mark and it made a massive difference!

Got mine reconditioned by RT Racing. Think it was about £35, but that was 2 yrs ago.
Keep them well sprayed with grease to keep the moisture out and prolong life. Have done 10k since and still zero play.
Someone advised me once to cut an old bicycle tyre inner tube up to length, slide it over the uj, pack it with grease and cable tie the ends tight and then I would never have a problem with it.
Didn't do it at the time as I sold the car but it sounded like it made sense.
