Well - if you are bored sitting at home and would rather be out doing something in your Wedge :

Saturday 1st May - 'Surrey' region are having a chip run down to the coast - starting from the Fairmile at 7pm

It's on the A307 between Cobham and Esher (set back from the road a bit..) call me if you are lost : 078011 78794.
Map :
www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?X=512500.534845062&Y=162500.127457525&width=700&height=400&client=public&gride=&gridn=&srec=0&coordsys=gb&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&local=&scale=50000&out.x=10&out.y=10

If the weather is foul then we will stay at the pub !

Friday 7th May (evening) - how about a Wedge presence at the Middlesex meet at the Ace Cafe on the North Circular :
www.ace-cafe-london.com/

I went along to the last meeting and it was pretty good
- watch out for all the speed camera's around there though.. they do good food and great mugs of tea or coffee .. so you can come along straing from work..

Sunday 9th May - a run out to a secret destination in the country .. those at the last meeting will know about this one

Let me know if you are going to any of these

Weather permitting i think the Ace cafe and the "secret location" are both a good idea.
What about the rest of you, let the Rev know if you think you cant make either of 'em.

What about a trip to the GT's at Thruxton. The organisers were very pleased to see TVR's at the Tasmin challenge event last year and said they were trying to encourage car groups to attent meeting.

We did also get on the track at lunch time for 2 parade laps!

OK - I'm going to the ACE on Friday .. sadly the SEAC will be at Austec for a quick service and check over .. they promise to have it ready for Saturday.

Who else is going to the ACE - Degs and D P 400 SE .. I know are going..

Regarding Sunday - I will send an email of the details
to our new southern wedge email group .. as the destination is a bit hush hush .. but it will be a drive of about 1 hr for some of us and more for others..

Let me know here or by my email profile if you are going .. we want to make an impact !

PS - sorry for absence from meetings, but work & daughter's forthcoming nuptuals taking (some) precedence - S

Great - I'm missing my SEAC already..

It's at Austec now and the clock is ticking .. they have 1 day (not 2 months).

And guess who won't have a TVR ... Austec have failed me again - so I'll be in the Focus ST170 (at least it's dry inside) !
