can any 400SE owners help ?

as many will know my car is currently in the hospital for sick wedges undergoing a major heart operation.
This leaves me with nothing to reference when ordering materials etc to finish off tarting it up.

What I need ....

The dimensions of the inside of the roof section. (particularly the portion that is trimmed the same colour as the interior) in Centimeters please.

The dimensions on my 400 are : 123 cm x 49.5 cm overall size, and 118 cm x 35.5 cm for the trimmed section. On mine the longer sides each have a folded under strip about 20mm wide , to neaten the edge, so you would need to add these to the above measurements.

To be honest, was reluctant to give measurements as a) if different or if I get it wrong it messes you up and b) if the same as other wedges, isnt it better for you to nip round and measure one thyself?

Anyhow, I made the inner measurements of the hard top vinyl bit as 120 cm x 38 cm to sewn area + 1 cm each way for folding under the hard black fitting strip.

For the vinyl area on the leading edge of the fold down rear window bit, I got 180 cm x 20 cm, again with an extra 1 cm each end ( or possibly more cos it's hard to gauge) for folding under.

But I'd get a peep at one yourself if I were you
