Made a panic spares trip to RT this morning . Had a poke around the shop while we were there , noticed a Black "F" plated 450SEAC on the ramps .

Anyone know who it belongs to , and if they would be interested in BBWF ?

Wish I'd know I'd have come down for a natter. I've been at work since 7am and it's only 5 minutes walk from RT. Did you buy anything interesting ?

My 450SEAC is at RT racing at the moment. It's BRG, but does look black in certain light. It's been there a few weeks now and I'm struggling to cope without that V8 rumble

By the way anyone got a SEAC that's not broken and being fixed in a garage somewhere

Nothing really - just a quick annual service (tapet adjust too) mot and new gearbox bushes on the change mechanism .. they should have ordered this part a month ago ... but they have to wait til monday for it .. PPPPPPP (piss poor planning prevents piss poor performance).

Rev -

Don't you mean piss poor planning/preparation produces piss poor performance?

On the other hand perfect preparation produces perfect performance.

IMHO too busy as they have received rave reviews over work completed.. then the service starts to suffer as they take on too much work.. ho hum...

Thats what I meant by "too good for their own good"
But we all know how annoying it is, waiting for what initially set out to be a few hours work for a routine job, to find out that parts are out of stock.

I have been working for the Japs and Koreans for too long and they do not tolerate....sorry guys the line is on stop cos there's a few bits missing!!
The theory is - carry minimal stock (JIT)But make sure you got it before you start.

I've been lucky (so far) in having an engineering background, a good local mechanic, and thanks to this forum the advice to pass onto him. But I always check what parts he does/may need before I book it in.

Thats my winge over (my nickname is Victor Meldrew).
Pound to a pinch of salt my engine will blow up on the way home.
And by the way WHERES MY SPRINT...theyre late as well.
Ah well if things dont change theyll stay as they are

Yes - where's my sprint ... perhaps all us wedge boys are on the black list ..

Or was it because I commented on the pride and passion thread (until it was removed without trace).
