Hi guys,
Have any of you tried on a Set of Spyder wheels on a wedge? Not sure if the bolt pattern is close but I'd love to see a picture?
Any other alloys? Lets start a picture series with different wheels.
My car has Griff wheels on it for some reason.

Yes, I tried it a few years ago when I had a T350c and the SEAC.

I don't think it was a great success.

Image wheels look fantastic

Yup, agreed!! Spiders look pants on a wedge (looks great on all the later cars as they suit the curves)

I would love some of those image wheels, I recon they look amazing. Same as my dads ultima

Yes - they looked weird and were much heavier that the OZ wheels by a couple of kilos each wheel.

Those wheels you have on look like 16" Estorils off a Cerbera, I didn't think they were the same stud pattern as the wedge though they are obviously five stud. I would check you still have the standard hubs on your wedge before you splash out on some new wheels. Cerb wheels are a Jap pattern. Hope I'm wrong!
Steve.

Early Cerbs were OZ Saturns.

They may look good, but based on my experience of having a set made by them, the finished items both in terms of build quality and adherence to my specified dimensions led me to return them and get my money back. Avoid at all costs.

Pretty sure they are OZ Saturn wheels off a Cerbera, Estorils were the 7 spoke alloys fitted to the Griffith 500. My mum had an early MX5 which had been fitted with a set of 16 inch Saturns - it looked fantastic but it tramlined like something from Blackpool seafront!

I have Image wheels on my SEAC that were on it when I purchased her, no sign of poor quality or any problems.

I saw a few wheels that might look good on a wedge while at EMP at St Albans

I wonder why it is that I hate wheels that the number of spokes doesn't match the number of lug nuts. For a five lug pattern there should be five spokes - or ten, or five double spokes, etc. Not seven or six.

Just me?
