My reversing light is stuck on. I Suspect I may have a sticky switch.

Where Is it?

Cant tell from your profile which model you have (assuming it's not the T car) but for an LT77, see below - number 13.

Neither is easy (unless you happen to have the exhaust box off at the time). The alternative is removing the gearshift gaiter and rubber inner, at the risk of breaking the backing board that the former is attached to. Go in from underneath is what I have (and would do). The actual switch consists of that threaded bolt (brass if I remember), which is hollow and contains a sprung plunger, all secured with a locknut. Adjustment is made by slackening the locknut and screwing the brass bolt in or out as needed. What can happen is that the action of the shift mechanism over time against the switch body can cause it to stick. Might be worth checking electrical faults first though. There are a pair of short electrical cables soldered to the end of the switch, which join the loom by way of bullet connectors.

Good luck.
