My car has had its seats replaced with RX7 seats. I want to take them out and get a little closer to original.

Had a browse around google and cant really see to much. Anyone have any good ideas or suggestions?

Cheers

I have Griff seats and do have my original seats but want to retrim them and keep the Griff ones as a spare for when i retrim others

The Griff seats are comfy but the wedge ones are actually better...

Hi i've got some front seats from a wedge in grey with red piping i think.

They came out of one of Glens cars GMW ?.

Can't remember what they need doing to them one is stripped and the lower frame needs a repair to it as the tubing has split.

I'll try and get to the farm to have a look tonight.

Hi Charlie,

Zig lives in London approx 200 miles from Douglas Valley.

In the states that would be a relatively local journey for you guys but in the UK's over crowded roads it's a long way !!!.

I emailed the guy on ebay yesterday, they have been kicking around for a while, his reply is they are in a bad but are only £89 and he would recommend viewing them before buying so it sounds like they are useless> Having them recovered is one thing but if the frames are shot they are useless.

May look for some griff seats as they are closer than what I have in the car presently.

Andy if you look on Douglas valley's site there are 3 Wedges...There is a horrific front ender on a red 350i which has a really nice interior..Including seats...DV are not the cheapest but in the great scheme of things they are...I paid 250 notes for my Griff seats from them inc delivery..Worth a phone call mate.....Ziga

Oh okay...If i hear or see any in the near future i will point them in your direction...I had MX5 leather seats in the 280i and they were very comfy, They sat a bit higher which felt weird being able to see over the bonnet...

If you click on the image twice they will be easier to see...

Cheers...Ziga

I have a pair of really good condition frames,
could be a good start!
Ive actually got the seat foams and covers too, but they are all stripped down as Glen was after the frames, then he sold his wedge!!
