Right chaps, I'm looking to replace the existing plastic header tank with a blingy ( ala zig) one.

Who's already done this? Where did you get them from, and how many beer tokens should I expect to pay?

Hi Mate

I had one made by John Halstead (Engineer1949) for a reasonable amount of beer tokens...Not cheap but then you don't want cheap...He made it so that the filler neck has a large nut welded underneath instead of relying on the weld to hold indefinitely..Especially when you think you have to push down on the cap to fit or remove...

Its also Wedged shaped...I made a drawing if you need it...smile

I also like what Taffo has in his..The original one covered in blue carbon fibre effect...I have an original tank that i need to repair and hydrograph...

Your one will always be unique Ziggy - it's the only one with the reflection of a saxophone in it...
