390SE brakes - what are they off?
Discussion
Hi all, just having a nosey at the 390SE brakes which I'd been told were 4 pots but in fact are not. The car has vented discs with normal looking 2 pots but with spacers, however I've pulled one off and it's way bigger than the standard 350i caliper, both in piston diameter and also pad size. The pads are just under 100mm deep and 65mm wide. The caliper has two reference numbers on it E23LG and 6732019. Pads have a large green reference number V118.
Any one any clues what these might be off? They fit the standard mounts and look as if factory fit plumbing wise.
Thanks

Ah, just found a Ford forum and a guy has posted a photo of the same set of calipers with the same reference number stamped on them. Says they are standard Granada Mk 2 calipers, M16B's, however I thought the standard 350i calipers were these? The original calipers on the 350i are smaller and the pads are more than 10mm shorter?

The Mintex pad detail for the Granada Mk 2 2.8i estate looks about right:

I'll get a rebuild kit in stock and confirm that the parts do fit.

Ignore me, I'm all sorted. Previous thread from February 2013 clears it all up. Grahamw48 clarifies:
Original factory 'standard' fittings were:
350i (and 280i) ...Granada saloon non-vented with matching Ford calipers.
390SEs...Granada Estate vented, with matching Ford 2 pot calipers.
400/450SE...as 390SE, but with 4 pot AP Princess type calipers.

Not quite with regard to the 400 / 450 models: They alone were fitted not only with the AP / Princess 4 pots, but clamped vented rotors bolted to separate alloy bells, rather than rotors with integral bells like all other Wedges. Makes replacing rotors very expensive. Original factory 'standard' fittings were:
