Hi Folks

After doing some work I have two wires left which are not connected anywhere. I tend to take pictures when I disconnect stuff, but I have nothing for these - Doh! . The wires come from the wiring loom which enters the engine bay on the nearside behind the coolant header tank. Can anybody tell me what they are for and where they should be connected?

There's an earthing point on the block/head back there (on mine anyway), which would make sense given the connector types. Cant say what they're for though.

Just been looking at some of my engine bay pics but couldn't see and black/White wires...They do look oily so could be the earths on the block N/S Rocker..

White and black usually go to the distributor.... but the ends look wrong for that, they are usually square push-on female spade-ends.

Got them! On mine they are bolted to the back of the near side cylinder head, just down from the washer bottle.

Yeah that's it. It's the earthing for the ECU isn't it? Needs to be on the block/heads and nice clean connections if you please.

That's brilliant guys, cheers for the quick response. I won't fall into that one again, at least not 'til I do another job eh!
