Gents, not sure if you've noticed but just been looking on TVR Parts and they have added a HUGE amount of new Tasmin parts - it's like an aladins cave of goodies - rear lights, front lights, new washer bottle and brackets, glove box veneer for £30, wiper arms, speedo cables, switches, new thermostat housing, boot hinges, door hinges, door hinge bushes, door handles, black or chrome, door mirror pods, cooling system blanking cap, throttle cable.

I have no relationship with TVR Parts whatsoever but so bloody impressed with so many new products that previously have been an absolute pain to track down. Well impressed, although my credit card is about to take a hammering!

Not wishing to put the downer on this but I ordered some items from them 3 week ago and they have not arrived and got a washy email saying they were trying to source parts from other suppliers so cancelled my order.

Let's hope they get their act together ...

Glass half full for me. There's a load more parts available than there used to be. Given the fact that there were NO Wedge parts even advertised on their website a year ago (only Griffs onwards) there's certainly a large step in the right direction.

Had a look at the above mentioned and yes nice to see more wedge parts. If you read the WHY US bit it could be the start of something quite good. Where are the NEW TVR owners going to get there bits from? lets give them a chance to get up to date. Having said that, don't fancy the first engine mount listed. Good luck TVR PARTS LTD.

remember www.obsoletetvr.co.uk as well as what David Gerald had stock wise

all these places seem to be getting vacuumed up into TVR parts system

It a good start.......some prices seem ok but some seem quite expensive. But hopefully it will be all under one roof so its a good start IMHO

Well in the last few months I've bought a coil, set of HT leads, gasket set, new starter motor and Griff fan rad switch and all were received within 48 hours of the order.

Had a refund on the front indicator and side light 040M 527A as out of stock. Glovebox lid TVR 025V 063A on it's way.

Need a new glovebox lid. Mrs is fed up of putting stuff back when she can reach it.

Surely it shouldn't be that difficult to make a glove box lid out of wood and put a couple of hinges on it. Otherwise, I wouldn't have thought it'd be an easy part to get hold of, unless someone has an old one lying around.

Nothing "obsolete" there, all stuff that could still be sourced from a multitude of Motor Factors, Ebay, maybe even Halfrauds scratchchin

Talking about me here. I would end up in A+E leaving behind a blood soaked bit of wood roughly shaped like the route of the London marathon.

Hi Jeff...Im not familiar with what the 400SE has in the way of a GB lid...I would of thought they would be more like the 350i S2 with the vinyl and wooden insert..I have one from a 280i but its veneered all over and it actually fairly cracked...And i cannot get the flaming screws out as some plonker has rounded them off...Do you have a cream interior?...Ziga

It will be the same as the others I think. It was missing when I bought it and it is no great issue, I think it looks quite clean without it however, the price on the parts web site just had me thinking why not. No effort on my part.
