Gave the 390SE a wash and had a 25 mile blast down the lanes tonight. Apart from the misfire on initial warm up it ran like a train and screamed down the lanes for 40 minutes without a hiccup.

Hi Mike, yes got your message thanks. We've been away the weekend. Got back at 6.00pm, wedge washed by 7.00pm and out for a blast.

350i is Ash green - it's got a special 4 clock dashboard similar to the SEAC style. Cheers.

Your car does look very impressive indeed. 390SE shape is in fact my favourite Wedge, style wise. I also like the SEAC type dash. Couple of things I noticed in the photos. Should it not have a vented bonnet? Also your clocks in front of driver look like the later type as on the 400SE/450SE ??? Unless it's not very clear in the photos.

Tony. TCB.
Hi Tony, 390SE has the full vented bonnet but 350i does not.

It's the 350i with the 4 clock dash and yes I think they are 400SE gauges and also the bulkhead and heater hoses/ plumbing etc are also 400SE rather than 350i. I'm told it was a customer special order. Supposedly there were two Ash Green 4 clock 350i's made but I've not been able to find records to confirm it.

390 dash is standard one, although very tidy. I've got the original polished wood door handles which will be going back on. I'm not too keen on the aluminium ones.

I see the 390SE does have the vented bonnet. It looks fantastic. I was getting confused with the photos of your two Wedges.

The 350i also looks good and I like the SEAC type dash with the time clock sideways on the side.

390 looking really nice Keith. Will it be at the fest?

Still not sure about a whale tail spoiler on anything other than a SEAC though.

Hi, not sure if it will be at the BBWF yet - I'll see how things progress and also down to availability of Mr Adams. Agree 100% re the spoiler. My 13 year old lad loves it but I'd rather have the standard SE spoiler. Don't suppose anyone's got one and fancies a swap?
