Morning all.

I've entered to display the 350i into this years BMC Family Sports car day at Castle Coombe on 24th July and have to provide a short paragraph discription on the car so the days commentator has something to say when I'm flying round the track driving ..

Other than stating the obvious.. engine size / built in Blackpool / fantastic noise etc.. what else could i say ?

Open to suggestions.

Also, if anyone else fancies joining me, PM me and I'll forward through the entry form and details.

Featured in Maxell cassette tape adverts back in the 1980s.
Practical Classics summary in their used buying guides used to call the 350i 'hairy-chested' - and the 390SE 'hairy-arsed' biggrin

I don't know that it ever made it to TV, I always knew it as a magazine advert.

TVR could have put the back bumper on straight wink

Ahh. ok, I just assumed.. good to see the magazine exert though

haha just thought, in that case the sportcar day commentator will be saying the Maxell tv ad !! oops wink, that's going to confuse a few people.

Also added to the descriptive paragraph " Does anyone know what car the ashtrays are from " - just for Ziga biggrin
