some of these are sealed in with silicone as standard fit is not very good, so it's best to take the wheel off and then tap them out from reverse, best to use the lips else you may just smash the badge off.

Hi mate

Just use the back of a large rubber screwdriver handle or hammer handle end with a cloth over the end and tap it out from inside the cup..You need to tap it as hard as you would ...Errrr...Slapping a naughty nurses....No wait....Errr...Clapping a really good band.....No...Errr...Banging your fist on the table in disgust.....Oh its somewhere around there...smile

Original had a rubber ring seal (as far as I know), two of mine still had a seal, two were bodged with silicone sealer.

Getting the silicone ones out is a PITA, if you slip, you can damage the 'TVR' cap, which is just plastic.

If you go to a bearing place, you can probably find some new rubber seals - I managed to find some.

Then a thorough clean of centre cap and wheel, and some grease or similar should sort it out ...

The Series 1 Tasmin had alloy centres that were retained with an O-ring but usually corroded in anyway. Twaatting them with a hammer from behind often mushrooms the edge which locks them in completely!

Mine were always "Twaatted" out but the level of "Twaatness" was un-measured so its hard to suggest how much "Twaatting" they need...wobble

Yep - one of the centres on mine was an absolute censored to get out because of that (No, I didn't do it), so the cleanup also involved some careful filing to restore the shape.

Incidentally, I used earlier black centres (Vixen/M style) on mine, as the original silver ones were missing, which fit nicely if you carefully file off the outer shoulder of the alloy centre.....
