Belongs to `seacsounds` on here. Was at the wedgefest about 5 or 6 years ago when I had mine.
Went to see it last weekend ... drives brilliantly and very fast ... roughly 240bhp at wheels and will be more to come when new V8D engine run in (canems tuned). Cosmetically its not great ... interior needs work and although bodywork is liveable with, it is showing its age. The body is definitely part Kevlar ... clear dimples and weave, but there are some stress cracks. There is no history prior to current owner.

Already being discussed on the Wedge Owners FB group. Pretty low output and peak power revs for that sort of capacity. Must be quite a conservative build without all the usual breathing mods, especially as it appears to have mapable ignition and injection.
V8D dominator engine I believe ... linky http://www.v8developments.co.uk/products/engines/l...It must be approaching somewhere near 300bhp at fly, which seems okay whilst running in?

Maybe my expectations are too high, but I wouldn't attach the label "Dominator" to something with those numbers. Not sure about the running in thing - why would someone spend several grand on a brand new engine and then sell the car? Like I said, peak power under 5K says its either not running right or very conservative map / breathing / cam. Revs = power. I'd expect (and I think a buyer of that car would expect) something that you can easily run to 6K rpm, and which is peaking at least 5.5K rpm, not some sort of stump puller (if that's what it actually is). Even their own website refers to 330 bhp, so something doesn't quite stack up for me - especially at £4,600 for the motor. It must be approaching somewhere near 300bhp at fly, which seems okay whilst running in?

That's impressive Glen, with peak power over 6K rpm. Care to share the engine spec?
From what I can gather from the history plus Leigh previously rebuilding the engine it goes like this4.2 engine
NCK plenum
Jag AFM and Injectors
Original weber FPR
Looks like the ECU is standard nothing tweaked or signs of opening
Extra Big Valve Head (in the records)
Stainless full exhaust system
Unknown cam
Cosworth pocketed Pistons
Adjustable pushrods
Pretty high compression (so Leigh tells me)
Normal ribbed afm to plenum hose
Set up on rolling road by Joolz up in Chesterfield earlier in the year (all that was done was tweaking the fuel pressure)
