I truly enjoy looking forward to a hot bath, glass of red and copy of Sprint magazine. We are all aware of the main gripe this forum has with the TVRCC but the magazine is a good read, the majority of the club members are enthusiasts trying to do their best and overall I still feel I get value for money from my club membership. The issue I have is the continued negativity on this forum towards the TVRCC. If people aren't happy with supporting the club then fine, just move on. I love my Wedge, I truly think the PH Wedge forum is a superb resource for helpful advice and the BBWF and its support for charity is fantastic, however the st and negativity on here has reached a point where I am seriously considering selling both Wedges and buying a Griffin or Chimp, just to get away from the sniping, negative comments and friction. Life is short gents, so don't waste it spending all your time being negative. Just get out there and rev the bks out of your Wedge, hear the pops and crackles and smile. More red wine needed.......

Sorry Keith I'm not trying to upset anyone just being honest...I used to get excited about the mag but now it doesn't interest me at all and i certainly won't be renewing my membership as its money better spent on fuel.
I don't hate the club...In fact I'm personally sadly disappointed that it doesn't support all the hard work organisers put in to events for their friends and fellow enthusiasts that they organise with true passion.

...The forum is not a nice place to be...And i personally have always been made to feel unwelcome so i choose to not go there.

PH is spontaneous..Vibrant and a bit edgy which is what it should be..At least you know you are talking to real people....Yes there are still clashes but thats life...We are all human and don't always get along with each other..Ho de hum..Life goes on!.

No-one has a gun at least no-one i know so i can't see any sniping going on...I genuinely threw mine in the bin with a tear in my eye...

There are reasons...But i will not discuss them openly or even in confidence and they do not concern or represent anyone one person or body in particular but they are reasons that if bothered me how they should then i would throw the keys of my Wedge down the drain..Set fire to it and never look at another fking TVR again..But i choose to be the bigger man as i have a responsibility to all of you to keep the Wedgefest alive for future generations to enjoy as they will need somewhere to take Wedges to when its their turn...And because my Wedge is my world...I love you Poppy....And you Delilah where ever you are...cry

Every second of every day we make something beautiful..Every second of every day we make history... Yet every second of every day we historically destroy something beautiful ...Humans....They're a crazy animal.

Maybe my feelings will change as they are changeable ..Normally by progress...

Maybe i will take the un-opened copy out of the paper bin and file it......Again my apologies for causing any stress or ill feeling.

Regards

Mark

Edited to say...And because my Wedge is my world...I love you Poppy....And you Delilah where ever you are...cry

Our mission is to promote our Wedges, despite those that may want to promote themselves. Our cars are becoming rare and they are the best value TVRS and V8 engined sports cars out there. Just enjoy them while you can.

Out of interest, does anyone know the registration of the last SEAC which they are asking for memories of? I have loads of pictures of them so may have one but the side on photo isn't very helpful.

Oliver.

Hi Oliver,

It was first registered on J642 OPL in August 1991.

In October 1994, the second owner bought and applied the following mark: J5 EAC (on which it's remained ever since).

Any recollections or images would be gratefully received: penhaldarva@gmail.com

Many thanks,

Geoff

Thanks Glen, unfortunately the missus has just passed on the "to do" list which includes moving the contents of kids play room into the spare sitting room, moving various sofas around the house, chopping logs to try and get the log store full and making an apple crumble. Bah humbug.

It's all about choosing the right battles to fight. I did have three TVR related weekends on the trot so happy to play the game today. wink
