Touch up paint

Morning all, When I bought our wedge it came with Two - pack paint , and all the materials to re-spray all the bits that needed it, I have no intention of trying to spray anything myself, but I do have some chips under the bonnet I would like to sort out, Can the two-pack paint be used without the Extra- rapid hardener for this purpose. If not, at what ratio should I mix it , I would only need an egg cup full. Or would I be better off buying the stuff on flea bay , for 15 quid.

I've used the paint on its own for stone chips, if it's metallic wait a week and dab a little laquer over the top.

2 Pack means there are 2 parts to the paint process. Which means paint and hardener. No doubt you have read that the hardener is quite dangerous to use. You can get 1k paint which is air dried and safer to use. But what you can do with your paint is to get it transferred into aerosol cans with 1k thinners for air dry purposes - any respectable paint supplier can do this for you.
