A very Cumbrian motor car
Discussion
One of the former owners of my car used to have it serviced by Haughin's in Barrow; one time they lent him a 350SX while the 390SE was having work done.
He reported that there was little to choose between them performance-wise but the supercharger whine used to get on his nerves.
Ironically my car now has the noisiest PAS pump in the world, it sounds a lot like a supercharger

I think the point was to show the 350i with a charger was as good in performance as a 400se, perhaps even a bit better with the extra torque lower down. He reported that there was little to choose between them performance-wise but the supercharger whine used to get on his nerves.
