Would like to have made this but unfortunately could not. I did go to the classic car show at the Ali Pali a couple of weeks ago hoping there'd be a TVR stand..but there wasn't. In fact I didn't see a single TVR..bit of a disappointing show tbh.

Hi

It was a long weekend, but a great one. Thanks to the large number of fellow P Headers who came and said hello. The number of wedge owners who asked for advice about there wedge was up on previous years. Also the number of new wedge owners who asked for advice was also up on previous years. Which I think is good news as there appears to be more cars being put back onto the road. There were two notable ones, the man who purchased the 3rd pre-production 350i which I sold to him via auction early last year. The car is nearly done, with just the painting to be done and then it will be back on the road. The other one was the new owner of Tasmin num 45 which was the one found around Canary Wharf a couple of years ago. He has replaced the broken rear windows and is now sourcing all the missing parts (Not that many) so he can then start a total body off restoration. He spent an hour going around my FHC to see where all parts should go etc, and he joined the TVRCC as well.

Seeing that car and what they expected for it gave me a new appreciation of my own!

I know in the past I have been slated for having a clean engine bay but for me it shows how loved the car actually is...Throughout my life I have seen thousands of classic cars and 99.9% of them have sparkling engine bays..Lets face it its the heart of the car!

I would certainly walk away from that even if the interior and paint were good...yuck

This was Poppy's engine bay when I first bought her and I only paid £2,250..

Hi

To get an all wedge stand at the NEC you will have to start a proper registered wedge owners club, and then when that has been reconised as such you can apply to the NEC for a stand space, but this will of course cost a bit of money for any space allocated.
When you have the space then you have to get the cars you wish to show for four days and off course some display matterial.
