Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has had a go at replacing the hood on their wedge themselves?
Also has anyone had experience of Autohoods?

Or know of any manufacturers they'd recommend.
I had a hood fitted to my old 400SE by Martrim in Cheshire who did an excellent job, however my 280i is only intended as a good weather toy and is not going to be stored outside and used in all weathers as the 400 was.
I've fitted a hood to an MGB before and experienced no problems with it. A wedge hood looks very simple to fit to me, it justs needs a lot more glue than an MG.
Your thoughts gentlemen?

I recently got a hood from autohoods, came with fabric etc to match for the targa panel, velcro strips for the sides etc. Delivered in a week from order and good quality too. Guys that fitted it for me said they had to re-stitch the false seams on the targa panel to get them to line up correctly, they are all different of course. Very happy all round with Autohoods
