wondering what to do with your redundant tax disc holder?

The month is actually the year of registration, and the location stamp can only be Blackpool of course smile

You get the idea smile

Nice idea, however, could you be done by plod for displaying a non-valid tax disc?

Unlikely as under the new regulations there is no need to display a tax disc, indeed if you tax your car today you won't receive a tax disc, it's now all online.

I think you're right V8 GRF yes this tax is invalid, however as long as the car is correctly taxed online "behind the scenes" so to speak, there shouldn't be a problem - I hope

Scan an old one, Paint Shop to alter the details, job done biggrin

In fact precisely that sort of forgery is what's prompted them to do away with the tax disc (that and saving themselves loads of money, savings that will of course be passed on to the motorist - yeah right rolleyes)
