Mines just gone down by £29...Might not sound much but in south London its enough to get you in or out of trouble...smile I think its the first time i have ever had insurance actually drop, Perhaps they are starting to catch more scummy drivers who don't insure, MOT or TAX their cars...

thumbup...ANPR...

Mine is due January. Currently Adrian Flux - will have a good ring around to check prices. Did insure for 3,000 miles last January but had used those by August so had to increase to 5,000 miles and another £50. Oops.

Ouch - £460? The joys of living in the back of beyond! Was £126 last time and I think I was robbed.

They bumped mine up this year because they said I've changed my car too often. I didn't know there was a minimum and maximum period of ownership. I've never claimed anything from them ever, yet still the increase. In fairness though, I have insured this one for more money, as I paid more for it and intend to spend a lot more, and allow for appreciation.

That's nothing on the last Jeep renewal the largest quote was £12k, and hear in mind this is a car with a book value of £300, and they still imposed an excess of £250!

My insurance is up for renewal early Feb.

For this current year, I'm with Admiral on one of there multicar policy's - The Celica, 14000 miles and the 350i on a valuation agreed, classic policy with 4000 miles - both insured for business use, both fully comp, cant remember the excesses but not high. all for £306.

I seem to remember the Celica on its own was about £270 !!

Was with Adrian Flux. £182 (5000 miles per year). The only downside was receiving no refund when I cancelled the policy (although there was still more than 6 months left to run). Just sold the 350 a couple of days ago:-(

I'm on £147/5,000 miles.

But 5,000 isn't going to be enough. Already at 3,500 with six months to go.....

Beefy you can usually buy a "top up". I used to insure for 2500 and then top up to 7k for about £30-£40.

Not bad for a 23 year old student.
