KENT....So why haven't we seen it at a sausage meet...And why don't people show the engine bay??...Looks a nice motor..And a good price...A very good price....A very very good price...Snap it up before the traders do and we see it advertised for 8K...

Thats not a bad thing mate..If he was dodgy then he would rip your arm off!!...Did you tell him you already own a Wedge?...It is a gamble buying blind mate..If it has Tax then ask him to go to Greenwich park on Sunday and a couple of us can look it over and chat with him..Unless someone in the area could go and have a look....Ziga

I've had both flapper and non flapper and they do both pop and bang, only in different ways. Certainly, the flapper does the most pops and bangs usually when decelerating. The non flapper, bangs, more than pops, but in between gears at high revs. So both are fun and sound good.

I agreed to buy over the phone, and bought my current wedge without actually seeing it, for the asking price. The reason why I did this, is because I trusted the seller and he trusted me. I had of course met, and spoken to him at a previous Wedge Festival, not knowing at the time that within a couple of years I'd be buying his Wedge. We both kept to our word and the deal went through smoothly. So, there are decent folk around still, though probably not many of us left. We are a dying breed. biggrin
I have been very happy with the car, in fact, it's probably the best one I've owned. My favourite colour too. I will look after it and improve it further hopefully to a minter, as it's not in a bad condition now.
