Hey guys,

What length of 2" hose is needed to join the 2 fuel tanks and also replace the length of it at the filler cap?

Cheers.

Hi mate..A metre is more than enough..However try to avoid the hose with the steel helix running through the middle..It doesn't clamp down enough and WILL leak especially on the filler neck..Always use the best clips you can buy.

I used Alfagomma T-650 fuel delivery hose x 2"/51mm ID with a tensile cord inner braiding...Cant remember where i bought it though...If i get a minute this morning i will go through all my receipts....Cheers...Ziga

Thanks Mark,

I'll have a google for the hose you quoted. I've only found 1 that isn't marine hose so far but it's £12 for 6" which seemed a bit steep

Don't forget to specify hose that is resilient to ethanol.

Don't scrimp on fuel hose unless you've got a really good fire extinguisher!

Yeah I can certainly understand what you're saying, I'm just a bit wary of over paying if the product isn't actually any better than something I can get elsewhere for less.
