Evening chaps.. before I hand it over to Bespoke Performance, I wondered what the thoughts were with this...

Changing down through the gears has become an issue on my SEAC, the gear selects but it judders as if the clutch is not fully disengaging. Up changes all fine, & no issue stationary..or with reverse. Clutch peddle feels normal, biting point normal.

The clutch fluid level is correct, and no leaks...so, maybe clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder fault? Or could it be a simple airlock?

It started doing it after a fairly hard day's driving filming for a Car Throttle video.

Thoughts much appreciated..smile

Hi Wayne...Sounds like the pressure plate springs or something getting too hot in the clutch..It might need a closer inspection by the sound of it...Ziga

Hi Zig, hmm...could be, it started doing it right at the end of the day filming.
I have driven it a couple of times since..and it's still doing it. I'm hoping it's not the clutch itself..for obvious reasons.

Its due a service & MOT so will see what BP think.

Cheers

Might be worth checking all engine and gearbox mounts Wayne.

Plus if you've been driving hard, prop shaft uj's even?

Start with the easy stuff (after inspecting those) and flush the clutch fluid, while checking for bubbles.

I strughgled with some gears in the SEAC and all was cured with a change of gearbox oil and lubricating the gear linkages...both relativel cheap/easy to do.

Car Throttle video you say....can't wait.
